I really did not get into Digital Art until I joined Deviantart. I was inspired by the beautiful fanart for my favorite anime: Sailor Moon!

By husband first showed me how to color and I was amazed with the technology and how simple it seemed to color things digitally. I was so proud of my first few digital coloring artworks, but as I saw the amazing talent on Deviantart, I began to push myself harder. Sometimes I get discouraged when I see how far I am yet to being where I want to be, but I have come a long way.

I have been a member of Deviantart longer than on this account, but there were a few privacy issues with my original account. First, my family, though not really involved in my life, are not really supportive and sometimes, without meaning to, can be a little harsh. They became more aware of my original Deviantart account. Also, I am a teacher, and my students were becoming more and more interested in my Deviantart account. I began to feel that I couldn't be as open on my original account. I even had a student make fun of what I had written about myself on my original account. That is when I decided to make this account. I feel I can fully be myself and be open if I can keep this personal hobby separate. There are a select few people who do know about this account, so I'm not completely secluding myself.

That explains why I don't have more history or more examples to show on this account. However, I do have several years of practicing ;).
